WriteNow version 2.2 is System 7-compatible. You’ll be able to use WriteNow under System 7 just as you’ve been using it under System 6.
In addition, TrueType is supported (up to 127 points) and Virtual Memory is supported for those machines with virtual memory capability.
What’s not supported in System 7 at this time:
WriteNow 2.2 does not support 32-bit addressing (a feature available only on machines with 32-bit clean ROM’s, i.e., the Macintosh LC, IIsi, IIci, and IIfx). Nor does WriteNow 2.2 support Publish and Subscribe or standard Apple Events. WriteNow will support these System 7 features in future releases. So that we may inform you about WriteNow enhancements in a timely fashion, please send in your Customer Registration Card if you’ve not already done so!
WORDMASTER
Some System 7 users have already installed WordMaster using the techniques described below and seem to be having success, but we have identified some intermittent problems and resolved them in WordMaster version 2.1.2. System 7 compatibility is the only change in this version. (System 6 users do not need to update.) If you have already installed the WordMaster desk accessory directly into WriteNow and are using System 7, remove WordMaster and replace it with version 2.1.2, available in T/Maker’s software library here on AOL.

To install WordMaster into WriteNow:
Download and unstuff the file WordMaster 2.1.2 from T/Maker's software library. This file includes the WordMaster desk accessory (in suitcase form) and these instructions.
You will also need Font/DA Mover 4.1, available online:

or, just use QuickFinder and search for 'da mover'
Double-click Font/DA Mover 4.1.
Click the Close button.
Click the Desk Accessory radio button.
On the left side of the dialog, click the Open… button.
Find the WordMaster 2.1.2 file on your hard disk. Select WordMaster 2.1.2 and click the Open button.
On the right side of the dialog, press OPTION while clicking the Open… button. This will allow you to install WordMaster directly into WriteNow.
Find the WriteNow 2.2 application on your hard disk. (Start by clicking the Drive or Desktop button.) Select the WriteNow 2.2 application icon and click the Open button.
(Note: If you don’t see the WriteNow 2.2 application in the scrolling list, press Cancel, then make sure you are pressing the OPTION key while simultaneously clicking the Open… button.)
Select WordMaster™ and click the >>Copy>> button.
Click the Quit button.
If it’s not already there, copy the Webster’s Collegiate Thesaurus into your System Folder.
For clarity, you may wish to rename WriteNow 2.2 to WriteNow 2.2/WM, or something similarly clever, identifying it as the WriteNow version with WordMaster installed. WordMaster™ will appear under the Apple menu only when WriteNow 2.2/WM is the active application. It’s a special version of WordMaster™ which only works within the WriteNow application.
Notes:
With WordMaster installed, the WriteNow application grows from 125K to approximately 212K in disk space. You will not need to adjust your memory partition, however.
Installing WordMaster directly into the application file can also be performed while running System 6. The option-open technique is the same, and a copy of WriteNow with WordMaster installed into it will work just as well under System 6 as System 7. An advantage to performing the installation under System 6 is that you can use a version of Font/DA Mover earlier than 4.1.
